Week ending January 24th – Cold and wet conditions hampered progress, however, Hondros completed initial grading of the building pad and tested the soil for compaction. Landscaping materials were removed, and additional sidewalk was demolished and hauled offsite.
Week beginning January 27th – The building pad will be treated to accelerate the soil drying process and additional compaction testing will be performed. Installation of the new storm water structure and associated piping is also scheduled to begin.
Please remember that although the construction site is fenced off and secure, the Southside parking lot is an active construction site and is off limits. Site visits can be scheduled but must be arranged with Hondros (hard hats, safety vests and proper footwear will be required).
