Hondros completed erecting the structural steel; placed and secured structural decking for the second-floor slab and completed preparation for the concrete pour of the second-floor slab. The concrete pour began before sunrise on Wednesday. The concrete was placed on the deck using a concrete pump unit mounted on a truck and a flexible hose/boom system that allows the concrete to be directed to specific locations. Placement and finishing of the concrete were completed by mid-afternoon.
