Hondros has completed the installation of exterior wall sheathing and continues applying water and vapor barriers on the exterior walls. First floor ductwork installation and interior framing continue. Rough-in installation of second floor electrical and plumbing is also ongoing.

Hondros began first floor exterior wall sheathing and exterior parapet wall sheathing. First floor exterior wall framing and interior framing continued. In-wall electrical rough-ins are scheduled to begin this week and Hondros will also begin hanging door frames.

Hondros continued fireproofing of the steel framing and decking. The installation of second floor interior and exterior framing continues. Hondros continued installation of curbs for rooftop HVAC units. Hondros subcontractor installed taps on the Charlotte Water line for our fire line/fire hydrant and domestic water line.

Hondros continued installation of exterior framing track clips as well as electrical and mechanical hangers. Selective fireproofing of the steel framing and decking continues. The installation of second floor interior and exterior framing is well underway. Hondros has also begun installation of second floor HVAC duct work and installed the rooftop access hatch.

Hondros poured and waterproofed the concrete curb/retaining wall on the East side of the new building. Installation of ceiling hangers and exterior framing clips is ongoing in preparation of selective fireproofing of the steel framing and decking. The installation of interior second floor partition wall studs is also underway.

Hondros completed erecting the structural steel; placed and secured structural decking for the second-floor slab and completed preparation for the concrete pour of the second-floor slab. The concrete pour began before sunrise on Wednesday. The concrete was placed on the deck using a concrete pump unit mounted on a truck and a flexible hose/boom system…
Hondros has continued with installation of the structural steel framing including for the connector to the south side of the Narthex. Installation of the metal decking for the second-floor concrete slab is also well underway. Form work for a low retaining wall/curb on the East side of the building was also set.

Remarkable progress is being made this week!!
Hondros completed the installation of the under-slab utilities and poured the building slab. The structural steel framing was delivered. Steel erection has progressed rapidly and will be completed this week. We were able to sign one of the last beams to be installed before the Wednesday night Lenten service.
